Shruti, Akshara Snub Anurag

Who's the loser in the bargain? Anurag Kashyap!
Remember we told you that Shruti Haasan was approached for a role in Anurag's next (Shruti joins Nawaz and Ayushmann in Anurag Kashyap’s next, August 31)? However, the latest on the story is that the actress turned the project down.
So what did the director do? He had the cheek to offer the same role to Shruti's sister, Akshara, who made her debut with Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush in R Balki's Shamitabh.
"However, even Akshara has refused the part," said a source associated with the film, before adding, "Now, they've auditioned a set of fresh actors and a new girl is likely to be finalised."
Well, is this the collateral damage of the Bombay Velvet debacle? Interestingly, even Ayushmann Khurrana has refused to be a part of the project. That's definitely not a good sign for Anurag.
